The question which is usually the first that is asked, is also the most difficult to answer!

Flat Rate Pricing
Generally, work is priced on a flat-rate basis, so you'll know how much a project will cost before it starts - there will be no "surprise" charges that come out of nowhere. Specifications for all work are carefully spelled out to your satisfaction so you know what is involved and what you are paying for.

Sample Costs
The general rates listed below are ballpark of what you might expect. Every project is quoted individually, so your specific quote may vary. For comparison purposes, the vast majority of sites in the portfolio range from $800-$3,000.

  • Site changes
    If you need a few small changes to your already - existing site, no matter who originally designed it, the rate is $65 per hour billed in 30 minute increments. On all sites designed and hosted by Nashua Web Design (over $1,000), 15 minutes per month of maintenance is included at no charge.
  • A simple 4-8 page site
    If you just need a simple professional brochure site with no eCommerce or database, the rate is usually between $550 and $950 (hosting is additional). Generally, figure about $250 for the home page, $100 for each additional page ($150 if incorporating PayPal ecommerce).

    As of November 2005, Google has devalued reciprocal links tremendously. We now advocate different strategies rather than randomly trading links with other sites for high optimization.
  • Search Engine Optimization and Maintenance
    This would depend on the size of your site and the number of keywords you wish to optimize for. Certain sites (i.e. templated and sites built with frames) may not be able to be optimized and may require redesign to make it more 'search engine friendly.' A free site evaluation is strongly suggested.
  • Website Hosting
    We host web sites on our own servers at a cost of $300 per year. This includes 15 minutes per month of maintenance and/ or changes.
  • Domain Name Registration
    If we design and host your site, we will register your domain names at a cost of $6.95 - $8.95/ year depending on the length of registration.
  • eCommerce sites
    The rate for eCommerce sites varies tremendously depending on a variety of factors. They usually start at about $1300. We also offer various lesser expensive shopping cart options, using low or no cost shopping carts and payment services such as PayPal®. These types of sites are generally smaller (and more limited in scope) and would run about $800-$2000 for 10-20 products.
  • Ongoing Maintenance and Site Upgrades
    For some clients, a monthly program can be created to work within your budget. This would include regular content/ page additions, reciprocal linking, ongoing search optimization, newsletters and many other promotional and marketing ideas to keep your fresh for your customers, and at the top of the search engines.
  • Payment
    We ask for 50% of the quoted price at the start of the project. The balance is due when the site goes 'live' and YOU are satisfied with the results. We accept checks, Discover, MasterCard, VISA or American Express.
